How do we collect and store information from you?
Allianz uses tracking technology such as cookies or tags to gather information as outlined above (see: "What information do we collect from you and for what purpose?") to understand how visitors use the Allianz Website.
Tracking technology helps us manage and improve the usability of the Allianz Website, for example by detecting whether there has been any contact between your computer and us in the past and to identify the most popular sections of the Allianz Website.
When you save your cookie settings, they should also apply to your future visits to the Allianz Website. However, for technical reasons beyond Allianz’s control, this cannot be guaranteed. For example, if you reset your browser, delete your cookies or access the Allianz website from another browser or device your cookie settings may be lost. To comply with applicable laws and regulations, in some countries you may be asked to confirm your cookie settings when you first visit the Allianz Website. If you are in a country where you are automatically required to set your cookie settings, you may be asked to set them again on a future visit.

The specific capabilities of your browser and instructions on how to use them can usually be found in the manual or help file of your browser.

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States.

Use of Social Media plugins: Our website uses the following Social Media Plugins ("Plugins")
All Plugins are marked with the brand of the respective operators Facebook, Google, Twitter, Xing and LinkedIn (“Operators”). In order to increase the level of data privacy and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, we have implemented the Plugins by way of a so called “2 click solution”. This implementation ensures that when visiting our website no direct connection of your browser with the servers from the Operators will be established. Only if you activate the Plugins by clicking on them and, therefore, giving your consent to the data transfer, your browser will establish a direct connection to the server of the respective Operator. The content of the Plugin is then transmitted directly to your browser by the Operators and included by them in the webpage.
By integrating the Plugin, the respective Operator receives the information that your browser has accessed the webpage of our website. If you have logged into your respective account while visiting our website, the respective Operator can directly connect the visit to your account. If you interact with the Plugin, for example by clicking the “Facebook Button”, the “+1” the “Tweet Button” or the “LinkedIn Share Button” the corresponding information is transmitted from your browser directly to the Operator and stored by it. Further, the information will be made public in the respective social network or in your Twitter account and shown to your contacts . If you do not wish to have such data transferred to the Operators, you need to log out of your respective account before clicking on and activating the Plugins. XING AG, however, will only use your data in order to provide the share functions (e.g. calculation/display of counter value) and not store any personal data from you or evaluate your user behavior.
Please see the Operators’ data privacy statements in order to get further information about purpose and scope of the data collection and the processing and use:
